As I sit here, reflecting on the events that transpired in early May, I can't help but acknowledge the unexpected turn my career took. I was a victim of an AdTech layoff from my former company. Being blindsided was a jolt that I hadn't anticipated, as I believed my role as a System Support Manager was secure within the company. After investing 7.5 years of hard work and dedication, my position was eliminated due to a restructure.
